A Misty Malibu Wedding

Adam and Mika both love the California coast and they love nature. This was a big part of why they chose the Malibu Solstice Canyon and Vineyard for their ceremony and reception. The afternoon ceremony started with a light mist, creating a magical atmosphere around the Chuppah. Everyone popped umbrellas as Mika & Adam broke the glass and had their first kiss with raindrops falling. The cocktails and reception were moved inside, and it created a truly intimate affair, as guests gathered together to toast the new couple.

Mika’s Daughers of Simone dress had a vintage feel, but also very modern with the off-the-shoulder neckline and messy braid, which she wove little queen-anne’s lace flowers.

Family is so important to both Mika and Adam, and she had four little flower girls, all wearing crowns and white, helping add to the fairy-tale quality of the day. Mika and Adam put together tiny succulents in little white pots, arranged in the shape of a big heart, for all the guests to keep. Laura Hazzard, of DB Creativity did a wonderful job keeping the event running despite the rains and changing plans.Ā Additional vendors included A Rental Connection, Cornucopia Caterers andĀ Infinite Beauty LA.
