Excited to be featured today on Baubles & Bowties Blog!! You can see more of this downtown Los Angeles wedding (ceremony and reception at The Elysian) if you check out this earlier blog post as well… A Playful, Chic Los Angeles Wedding.
We caught the sunset up above Los Angeles. The Griffith Park Observatory is a stunning location for engagement photos. I was in heaven just running around looking at the angles, the lines, the light was just glowing…. It was such a beautiful afternoon…
The Virginia Robinson Gardens is a purely magical place and baby Lulu loved playing with all the flowers and watching the chickens.
I loved shooting this Rock-n-Roll Hollywood wedding. Rebel Belle Weddings did a fabulous job with the planning and details. And The Redbury Hotel, in the heart of Hollywood, was the perfect location. Ayla & Jason both work in creative fields, and they wanted their wedding photos to reflect their style, a blend of hollywood glam and gritty rock-n-roll culture.
I had to post these 2 images from a fall wedding I shot in NYC. I was kind of swooning over this dusky, pink palette… with the lace and ribbons on the bouquet…. And don’t even get me started on the dress… The bride works in fashion, and she had the dress custom made with vintage lace and a soft pink finish. What you don’t see here, she’s wearing converse. It was perfection. (she also had some Valentino Collection shoes for later… A girl’s gotta be prepared…)
I love it when couples suggest something unusual and personal, especially when it comes to creative concepts for shoots. Audrey & David have season passes to DisneyLand, so they suggested we shoot their engagement photos there, and it was beyond perfect. It was so much fun just exploring the park with them, of course they had it memorized! Most of my clients work in creative fields, and Audrey is an incredibly talented artist and illustrator. You can see her work here: http://www.vivianite.net/post/103545169888/audrey-jung I love how she sees light & colors….
